Located on an island off the northwestern coast of Norway, Pure Ocean Balance produces clean supplements from mineral-rich bitterns created during sea salt production. From these reclaimed bitterns, we recover and refine magnesium-, calcium-, and potassium-based salts to USP/FCC specifications, then formulate simple, ocean-only products.

We source our bitterns from the award-winning Havsnø Sea Salt factory, founded on the island in 2014, where we are establishing our dedicated mineral extraction facility to keep the process at the source. We partner with a fully certified contract manufacturer for precision blending, encapsulation, and premium pouch and bottle packing of our mineral powders.

Our primary focus is on women 50+, who are underserved in mineral nutrition. By centering this age group, we can design dosing, formats, and routines that fit real midlife daily life, supporting sleep quality, muscle function, hydration, and bone health with respect rather than generic, one-size-fits-all formulas.

Sales channels include premium natural and specialty retail, practitioner accounts, and direct-to-consumer. Our value propositions include exceptionally low levels of heavy metals and microplastics, full traceability, sustainable production, low-waste upcycling, and Norwegian provenance, all anchored in a production model that has operated on the island since 2014 and now underpins a scalable, single-origin mineral platform.
