Pure Ocean Balance is a wellness company on an island on the northwestern coast of Norway. We produce clean bioavailable supplements from post salt production, mineral-rich bitterns. From our recycled bitterns we recover and refine magnesium-, calsium- and potassium-based salts to USP/FCC specifications, then formulate simple, ocean-only products.

We source our bitterns from the Havsnø Sea Salt factory founded in 2014 on the island of Gossen where we will also have our mineral extraction facility, and partner with a fully certified contract manufacturer for blending, encapsulation, and pouch/bottle packing of the mineral powders.

Our primary focus is on women 50+, who are underserved in mineral nutrition. Sales channels include premium natural/specialty retail, practitioner accounts, and direct-to-consumer. Our value propositions are purity, traceability, Norwegian provenance, sustainable production, low-waste upcycling, lowest levels of heavy metals and microplastics.
